Business Summary: CEZ as is a Czech Republic-based company engaged in the production of electricity. The main activity of CEZ is the sale of electricity generated in its own facilities, and the related provision of power system ancillary services. Financial Summary: BRIEF: For the nine months ended 30 September 2011, CEZ a.s.'s total revenue increased 4% to CZK150.56B. Net income decreased 34% to CZK26.46B. Total revenue reflects a slight increase of demand for the Company's products, especially within the Distribution & Sale and Power Production business segments. Net income was offset by higher operational and financial costs as well as lower gain from trading with emission allowances.
