COOP, the No. 6 retailer, plans to announce by May that it is becoming a virtual mobile network operator. CEO Zdenek Juracka declined to say which operator it is closest to reaching a deal with. /Neutral, note that Tesco’s Czech unit also announced it will offer mobile voice services on Telefonica’s Czech network by May. We do not consider MVNO’s entrance on the market to significantly hamper TEFO2’s margins as they will provide services in pre-paid (already low margin) segment. Potential fully fledged 4th mobile operator would be far more negative for TEFO2 (305,8 CZK, -0,07%).
