Construction output in March increased by 26.4%; and, after being adjusted for the number of working days in March, this number would be even higher – up by 28.3%. For the 1Q07, construction added 28.9%. Following the pattern set in the previous months, March is yet another confirmation of the effects of the mild winter. It was 4.9C warmer than a year ago and construction could go on without any limitations. On the other hand, this effect most probably came to an end as average temperatures in April usually do not set any restrictions for construction.
