According to David Kucera general secretary of Prague Energy Exchange, the beginning of trading on the exchange won’t be on 1st of July 2007 as was initially planned. He said that once the participants (exchange, traders and banks) will be ready exchange can start. Kucera believes that the Prague Energy Exchange will start during July, probably in second week. CEZ confirmed that it will approximately sell 40% (28TWh) of its production for next year and the rest will keep for CEZ Prodej. Our view: We see the short delay of trading on Prague Energy Exchange as neutral. If the delay will be longer then CEZ would sell its electricity through series of auctions.
