According to Polish daily Gazeta Prawna, supervisory board of Bank PKO BP should appoint a new CEO on June 21. The short list contains eight names picked up by the supervisory board of the bank. The press speculates that the vast chances for the post has Rafal Juszczak, current acting CEO.
Our view: We find the news as positive as the Bank PKO BP is missing a CEO for almost a year. We expect the news to have slightly positive trading impact on the stock price today.
