Construction output in April increased by 17.6% y/y. After adjusting for the seasonal impact and impact of one added working day, construction activity grew by 19.4%. Construction has decelerated compared with start of the year when the growth rate reached around 30%. At that time, the evident growth was thought to be mainly due to the effects of the mild winter, which wouldn't show up any more in April. The fact that construction held on to its double digit growth shows the strength in the demand for construction work.
