The Czech market was the only in the entire region closing in negative territory. The trading volume picked up after US macro data. Only CEZ and ECM finished in red numbers. The most actively traded listing CEZ was under selling pressure by foreign accounts. CME added more than 2% even though Komercni banka cut its recommendation to Sell. Goldman Sachs cut its recommendation for CEZ to Neutral from Buy, but keeps the target price unchanged. On the other hand UBS raised its target price for CEZ to CZK 1,260 from CZK 1,200. Erste Bank gained 0.5% and increased its value for the third day in row. Philip Morris was the best performing stock of the day with 2.5% gain.
