According to HN daily, CEPS that owns and operates transmission grids expects that Czech Republic won’t produce enough electricity to cover electricity consumption around 2012. Therefore it is preparing its transmission grids for electricity imports from east. Our view: We see the news as neutral as we don’t expect that Czech Republic will need to import electricity around 2012 but if there would be insufficiency of electricity that would be positive for CEZ as the prices would increase.
