According to HN daily, E.ON and MUS are expected to build lignite power plant for EUR 2bn, said E.ON’s CEO Wulf Bernotat. Power plant should have two blocks with 600MW capacity. Bernotat also said that there is a possibility that CEZ will be invited to cooperate on the project. Discussion between two companies should be concluded within next few months, if they would agree on the project power plant should begin to operate in 2013. Our view: We think that it is too soon to make prediction whether the project will be finalized and what companies will be participating on the project. First we will wait on the development of law suit between CEZ and MUS. Currently we see the news as neutral.
