The Czech market opened lower, but afterwards moved steadily up and finally closed in a positive territory. Main Index PX closed higher in-line with the region. The total volume traded conformed, more or less, with the long term averages. CEZ and Erste Bank were the most actively traded stocks. The best performers were CEZ and Zentiva with gains 1.4% and 1.1% respectively. Ongoing negative sentiment pushed Orco back towards the CZK 3,100 mark. We could see some profit taking on Unipetrol. Erste Bank was during the day quite volatile. Listing fell to intraday low at CZK 1,563 to closing CZK 1,600.
