The Czech PX Index opened higher, but optimism disappeared soon and the market moved steadily down copying other markets. We could see similar pattern at CEZ. The energy producer went up to CZK 1,129 after opening, but lost stream and the international supply pushed the price down to day low of CZK 1,097. The total traded volume was below the long-term averages. CEZ was by far the most actively traded listing today followed by Erste Bank. Philip Morris was hammered down by stop-loss orders on no news. The only exception closing on positive territory was Unipetrol, which gained 0.4%.
