Albania’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy is “firmly opposing” steps taken by CEZ in form and content, according to e-mailed statement dated yesterday. Ministry claims CEZ caused damages to Albania at level of USD 1 bln. Ministry says CEZ hasn’t communicated withdrawal from negotiations. The country’s energy-regulatory office also said that it will decide whether to revoke ČEZ’s license there. That could be slightly negative as any delay of CEZ departure from Albania could mean additional (operating) losses for CEZ.
