The Czech central bank may intervene on the foreign-exchange market this year to further ease monetary conditions, Governor Miroslav Singer said. The bank may set desired exchange rate levels it would like to achieve if it decides to sell the koruna, Singer said in a live interview on the public Czech Television channel yesterday. Framework for potential interventions would have to be approved by the bank board, Singer said.
