According to spokeswoman Eva Novakova, CEZ qualified in tender for 51% state stake in Slovak heating plant Teplaren Kosice, which is the largest producer and distributor of heating in form of hot water and steam in Slovak centralized supply system. Installed heating capacity is 875 MW and electric capacity of 121 MW. Slovak heating plant attracted 19 potential buyers. Bids should be submitted by the end of March and results announced in May-June 2006. CEZ continues to be interested in Slovak market, although it failed to acquire Slovak power company last year. We see this information as positive but marginal with no impact on today’s trading. We reiterate our Buy recommendation.
