The PX50 Index gained 0.5%, led by CEZ and Cesky Telecom. CEZ closed safely above 701 CZK being bought by foreign investors, Cesky Telecom rebounded 0.9% to levels of 514 CZK from recent sell-off. P. Morris however lost 1.1% and touched the 17,000 CZK resistance level, even though the current low interest rate environment bodes well for the stock, moreover dollar weakness makes purchases of raw materials cheaper. Overall activity was well below the year-to-date average daily volume. Based on the above, we expect stable market prices today, with very low volumes.
