Index PX50 edged 0.1% higher, mainly thanks to gains on banks and Zentiva. The Czech market has outperformed its falling neighbouring markets for the second day in a row. Orco experienced a hefty upswing, as it shot up 4.6% without any major news seen; Zentiva gained almost 2% on market talks. Zentiva should gain weighting in the MSCI index. KB and Erste were stronger by roughly 1.0%, as investors put money into lagging stocks. Cesky telecom closed 1.8% lower on profit taking from the current strong rally. Volumes have increased, back to normal levels.
