The market added 0.4%, led mainly by Erste, which jumped 2.5% as strong buyers appeared in the Vienna Bourse. The other stocks were rather better offered and closed unchanged. CEZ said yesterday that it may increase its dividends if it fails to find any takeover target in our region. CETV had corrected its sharp move up, seen on Wednesday, as some investors took some profits home. The shares of P. Morris went up, closing above the CZK 17,100 level, despite being on late purchases. Overall activity remains subdued; volumes were seen deeply below the year-to-date average. We would expect the stock market to be on the upside, cheered by strong gains on advanced markets overnight.
