A weaker opening and morning session turned into a late afternoon rally again yesterday as the PX-50 index gained 0.27% on the day. Zentiva was the day‘s star performer, closing over 4% higher after it announced preliminary interest in the Romanian generics producer Sicomed. Any M&A deal or dividend was widely expected by the investor community, as the company needs to optimise its balance sheet. Demand largely originated from foreign accounts. Unipetrol rallied on insufficient supply. Orco continues to outperform the market, and despite strong recent growth we expect a further upside in this stock.
