The Polish daily Rzeczpospolita said that PKN will pay a fine of EUR 75m or CZK 2.2bn for the cancellation of agreements with Agrofert regarding the sale of some of Unipetrol’s assets to Agrofert. Note that on Monday the daily said that PKN had disadvantageous contracts with Agrofert, selling some assets below value by about EUR 200m, while the contracts are currently being investigated. At the same time, PKN said that it is trying to renegotiate better terms with Agrofert. Agrofert denied all allegations. Note that Uniptrol is on Patria’s Restricted list.
