The Tyden weekly magazine yesterday reported that CME plans to settle a dispute with Vladimir Zelezny (the former owner and director of TV Nova Czech Republic) over his former 60% stake in CET 21, the company holding TV Nova’s broadcasting license. CME reportedly plans to transfer assets worth CZK 0.5bn (CZK 13 for each fully diluted share).
Zelezny however denies any dealings with CME. Note that the current CET 21 shareholders are Vilja 52.1% (CME owns 85% in Vilja), CME 16.7% (Krsak’s former stake), Ceska sporitelna and CECD (both 1.25% to be transferred to CME).
