The CPI figure for June showed that prices of telecommunications services increased by 16.6% m/m in June due to a change in CT’s tariffs. Note that CT introduced new tariffs at the end of April that effectively increase subscription charges by CZK 90/month on average and reduce some calling rates. Given the fact that CT said that introduction of new tariffs did not accelerate fixed line disconnections, we expect the new tariffs to have a positive impact on the company’s financials.
Ceske radiokomunikace (Cra) began to offer ADSL connections without the need to pay subscription chargers to Cesky Telecom thanks to its own infrastructure.
