Traders initially pushed bonds higher in prolonged reaction to surprising rate cut. The yields fell some 4 bps across the board, but they quickly rebounded as yields on core markets rose. There was no other fresh impetus for the market.
Today, bonds may open stronger as Bunds erased some previous losses in American trading. Government budget deficit due in the afternoon might not affect the market.
