In a press release the bank said it has now reached 1,421,000 clients, up 7% y-o-y. Of these, 1,130,000 were individuals at the end of 2004. The bank has 335 points of sales and 555 ATMs. The volume of mortgages to individuals increased 40% to CZK 31bn and consumer loans rose 17% to CZK 10.6bn. Financing to SMEs grew by 25% to CZK 46bn. As of end-2004 the bank had issued 66,000 credit cards, up 79% y-o-y. The numbers come as no surprise and are basically in line with the development shown by the 9M04 results. CEO A. Juan earlier said that this year the bank expects mortgages to rise by 40%, consumer credit by 15%, loans to SMEs by 30%, loans to large corporates by 6% and credit cards by 70%.
