The PX-50 Index gained 0.5% yesterday with total turnover of USD 55 m. CEZ was the most actively traded stock as it rebound 1.8% on eased selling pressure, it were mainly local accounts buying the stock on the expectations of year-end rally. KB succeeded to rebound as well, stock added 0.5% after testing important the 3,200 CZK support level. Cesky Telecom closed in red 0.65% due to the selling pressure at the end of the session, volume was light. Erste Bank was down 0.9% on mild profit-taking. For today we expect positive session across the board, volumes likely to remain light.
As expected the Czech National Bank left interest rates unchanged at 2.5% at its regular monthly meeting.
