The Czech Industry Ministry (IM) proposed the limit on carbon dioxide from 2005 through 2007 to increase by 17% to 116.3m tons. The Ministry of environment (EM) is in dispute with the IM, proposing the limit to be only at 99.5m tons. The EM seeks to start negotiations on the matter in the Parliament as soon as possible. Given the experience from other EU countries, we tend to believe that the proposal of IM will win the support of the majority of the politicians.
