The Polish PKN Orlen, the new owner of Unipetrol, said yesterday that its two representatives have resigned from their positions on Unipetrol’s supervisory board to smooth the approval process with the Czech Anti-Monopoly Office and the European Commission and to be seen as not unduly influencing the company prior to the approval. PKN said the acquisition process was on course.
