The PX-50 gained 0.8% on a SPAD trading system volume of EUR 31.0m. Activity was rather low with cautious buying into most of the blue chips. The only exception was Philip Morris CR, which lost 4.2% after a local investor reduced its position in the stock. KB was the most actively traded stock, adding 0.9% and successfully breaking the CZK 2,700 level. For today we expect the market to trade on the upside due to bargain hunting. The focus will likely remain on Cesky Telecom and Komercni banka, with Philip Morris CR expected to stabilize around its current market level.
