The PX-50 index fell sharply by 2.10% to 772.5 points on Friday. CEZ and Ceske radiokomunikace were among the weakest performers, both posting losses exceeding 5% on the day. Cesky Telecom fell in sympathy by 1.97%. We attribute the recent weakness of the market to selling-off across the entire GEM universe rather than to stock-specific or country-specific concerns. Volume in the SPAD system trading reached USD 81.09m on Friday.
