The PX-50 index gained 0.36% to 838.1 points yesterday after an emotionless and quiet session. Volume in the SPAD system reached USD 21m. Philip Morris CR traded ex-dividend and therefore recorded a more than 6% drop on the day; its AGM is scheduled for April 26. Komercni banka continues to be sentiment driven, with buying toward the close inspired by the strong gains and massive volumes traded on OTP Bank.
Cesky Telecom continues to be well bid although we see no news, but the strength is likely supported by the recent talks on dividend expectations and also the positive news flow from its regional peers. The market will sustain current levels in today's session; we except moderate trading activity.
