The Board of Directors appointed Martin Roman as new BoD chairman yesterday. Mr. Roman, currently CEO of Skoda Holding, one of the largest engineering companies in the CR, will become the new CEZ CEO as of April 1, 2004. Expected.
While not disclosing his personal preferences or any detailed concept, Mr. Roman said that CEZ's current priorities are possible acquisitions in Bulgaria (distributors) and Slovakia (a dominant power producer) and the full integration of the domestic regional distributors acquired last year.
