The Czech market yesterday accelerated its recent gains and added 1.27% to 741.4 points, its long-term high. Gainers were led by CEZ, which traded in a high volume with both domestic as well as international funds on the buy side. More than USD 22.5m worth of shares changed hands. The rest of the market followed suit and added over 1% in sympathy. České radiokomunikace, though, managed to outperform the market once again as it added over 3.5% on continued demand. Cesky Telecom broke the CZK 310 level and may consolidate above this level. Komercni banka added 0.5% on the back of no news. Volume in the SPAD trading systém reached USD 63.4m.
