The PX-50 index added 0.2% in light trading yesterday, when total turnover in the SPAD trading system reached USD 16.9m. Komercni banka was the most actively traded stock again, though turnover was merely average, losing 1.4% on foreign-led selling. Ceske radiokomunikace was the biggest gainer, rising 4.5% to an 18-month high as local investors speculate that its majority owner will soon offer a public buyout at premium price. Other names traded sideways with low volumes. We expect the light, pre-Christmas activity to continue today; CEZ is to release 9M IFRS results, though no surprises are expected, and we expect most titles will be drifting flat-to-lower on mild profit taking.
