On Friday the euro depreciated slightly against the dollar. The rate EUR/USD
began at 1.1805 in Europe and by mid-session the dollar lost to 1.1817.
However, the greenback reversed its latest slide in the afternoon and closed
at 1.1786. The currency pair opened at 1.1794 in the U.S. and closed at
1.1786.
Europe opened at 1.1772 this morning and the rate should stay
between 1.170 and 1.180. Important data including GDP should be released in
the U.S. this week. Positive results are expected which should support the
dollar.
