The market started week on a quiet note with traded volume in the SPAD systém reaching just USD 12.61m. Philip Morris CR was the only actively traded stock, with decent flows on both the demand and supply sides, though domestic sellers prevailed. CEZ dropped 0.6% on a thin volume; the stock has not responded to recent comments from the Czech industry minister in regards to company privatization nor to the Slovenske elektrarne privatization news. We continue to view Cesky Telecom as a top pick for buyers on this market.
Please note Tuesday, October 28, is a public holiday in the Czech Republic; markets will be closed.
