The PX-50 index lost 1% of its value to 614.2 points on Wednesday. The market drifted down as a large sell order hit the market. All names traded in above-average volumes as more than USD 63.54 mil. worth of shares changed hands in the SPAD trading system. Komercni banka fell to as low as CZK 2,300, and Cesky Telecom was sent down to the CZK 280 level. The only stock that traded in positive territory yesterday was Erste Bank, which closed near CZK 2,800. The supply of stocks was particularly well absorbed in CEZ, which lost 1.5% of its value on the close.
