On Wednesday the Czech currency started at 31.930 against the single
currency. It appreciated to 31.900, but later on as other Central European
currencies began weakening and closed at 32.080. The reason was in foreign
investors who took advantage of the strong koruna and bought the weak euro.
The rate USD/CZK opened at 27.910 yesterday, it moved very little during the
day and finished at 28.180. A buoyant trading on FX markets should bring
European and American statistical data released this afternoon. Today the
rate EUR/CZK started at 32.100 and should stay between 31.950 and 32.200.
Against the dollar the koruna opened at 28.300 this morning and should stay
in a range of 28.100 and 28.600.
