The PX-50 index gained 0.51% to 490.2 points yesterday. That prices did not weaken was relatively surprising, especially as there was negative news in the morning news related to CEZ. However, a lower-than-average volume and a single large buy order were enough to keep index up. Komercni banka gained 1.97%, lifted by domestic accounts. Cesky Telecom traded higher, pushing past CZK 300, and Komercni banka topped the CZK 2,000 level. Today, we again expect an uneventful session, with prices to remain largely static.
