The PX-50 index fell 0.13% to 477.1 points on Wednesday. Overall, it was a day of descent trade flows. A large domestic buyer on the market in the morning later on turned into an aggressive seller and pushed the price of Komercni banka below CZK 1,900 amid a considerable volume. Philip Morris CR continued to fall after recently strengthening, as both domestic and international accounts lined up on the sell side; the stock was down almost 5.50% intra-day, finally closing at CZK 11,435, a loss of -4.03%. Cesky Telecom was again well demanded yesterday. Today, the overnight outset of war in Iraq will obviously preoccupy most investors. We again expect only a marginal change in the value of the PX-50 index today, however.
