The PX-50 index closed up 0.50% to close at 479.20 points yesterday. Given that it was a Monday, and with US markets closed, Prague traded in a decent volume of nearly USD 16.80 mil. Foreign accounts were active in most of the local names, mostly on the buy side. Komercni banka took a leading role again in terms of volume as locals repositioned themselves after anxieties related to the Iraqi crisis were eased somewhat, at least for the moment. For today, the market is likely to trade in positive territory, though we expect Unipetrol share price to trade below CZK 40.
