Cesky Telecom installed a record 10,000 ADSL connections within one week in March. CT now has 330k DSL lines installed, a 10% m/m increase, driven mainly by a significant improvement in the speed of connecting subscribers. Amount of broadband internet connections were influenced by significantly speed increase as of February 2006. The average number of installations per week is up by 43% to 6,000 in 2006 compared with 4,200 in 2005. Although we view the ramp-up in DSL roll-out positively as broadband generally softens the fixed line deterioration, we do not see any trading impact from the news. We maintain our CZK 510 fair value estimate, and reiterate our Sell recommedation in CT.
