The first reactor of the Temelin nuclear power plant should be re-activated next week, and the second could be activated for the first time at the end of April, the Czech Press Agency reports. This is in line with expectations.
According to CEZ’s consolidated audited IAS 2001 results the company’s total capex in 2001 reached CZK 15.2 bil. (CZK 6.2 bil. less than in 2000), while Temelin-related capex amounted to CZK 4.3 bil. These figures confirm the expected sharp decrease in investment outlays, combined with strong cash flow from operations.
