Temelin plant chairman F. Hezoucky said that the trial phase of the first block of the nuclear power plant will begin in April, a one-month delay, due to problems with fittings in the non-nuclear part of the plant (the trial phase follows dynamic tests; the reactor will run at 100% capacity during this phase). The delay is of minor importance to the stock price.
The Czech Press Agency reports that the first block was halted by a controlling mechanism yesterday morning. Plant personnel are analyzing the situation.
