The PX 50 index fell 0.48% to 392.8 points on Thursday. European markets remained weak and the negative sentiment pushed Czech blue chips lower as well. The most active stocks were CEZ, and Komercni banka. Despite Friday's deadline for binding bids in the privatization of CEZ, domestic and foreign sellers pushed its price down to CZK 77.24 (-2.34%). Strong local demand in Komercni banka helped firm its share price; the stock gained 1.11% to CZK 1,002. Total volume reached USD 8.43 mil. yesterday.
