In line with expectations, the PX-50 index weakened yesterday, down 1.21% to 393.40 points. The weakening above all affected Cesky Telecom shares, which declined to CZK 311, but which traded as low as CZK 306.50; the selling originated from abroad. Other names followed suit, only CEZ saw a healthy upward correction (+1.79%), back to CZK 80. The total market volume reached USD 17.64 mil. For today, the market will likely continue to trade weaker, and Cesky Telecom is likely to test the CZK 300 level.
