The PX-50 index gained 0.88% to 368 points as Cesky Telecom, Unipetrol and Ceske radiokomunikace all gained. Unipetrol added over 5.0%, to close at CZK 49.64, after the short-list of bidders for the government’s 63% stake was released. Ceska sporitelna was the most heavily traded stock in terms of volume, though it gained 0.28% to CZK 287.10. Cesky Telecom generally followed the strength of European bourses. Total volume reached USD 12.1 mil. on Wednesday. For today, we are likely to see the market rise again, with perhaps Komercni banka and Ceska sporitelna leading the way.
