The PX 50 index lost 1.28% on Friday, closing at 354.6 points, as the market underwent a correction after a three-day rally. Investors closed long positions ahead of the weekend, especially in telecoms. Cesky Telecom was the most-active stock of the day, with 445,840 shares changing hands, and its price plunged 4.7% to CZK 262.60. Ceske Radio was under pressure as well, losing 3.44% to CZK 288.8, though volume was low (84,000 shares). CEZ and Komercni banka closed the day basically unchanged. Market activity was light on Friday, with total trading volume reaching only USD 9.2 mil.
