The PX-50 index gained 1.43% to 332.7 points yesterday, pulled higher by substantial gains in Cesky Telecom. The stock added 8.00% to close at CZK 220 per share. Some natural buyers in the name were present throughout the day but strong gains in Europe helped to initiate more aggressive trading. Komercni banka stock rose 4.28% after a local broker lifted the entire offer side, but no substantial flow was seen. CEZ was under pressure from major accounts, trading as low as CZK 64.30. More than 1.1 mil. CEZ shares changed hands. Total market volume reached USD 10.6 mil. on Tuesday. For today, we are likely to see a positive open and the index will likely close ahead again today.
