The PX-50 Index continued falling to new lows as it lost 3.73% to 322.90 points. Ceske Radio was the top decliner, it shed 13.45% to CZK 253. Cesky Telecom lost 7.66% and traded as low as CZK 183 per share in a good volume of more than 425,000 shares changing hands. CEZ dropped as low as CZK 67.60, down 6.28% on the day. Selling was primarily coming from domestic sources, only Komercni banka had a number of foreign accounts reducing exposure to the stock. Total market trading volume reached USD 15.75 mil. on Friday. For today, we are likely to see further weakness ahead of the US equity market re-opening today. US will then provide further direction.
