Turbine vibration occurred again yesterday morning following Temelin’s re-activation on Sunday, resulting in a fresh wave of hostile comments from Temelin opponents. The Czech Press Agency informed that the turbine was fine-tuned yesterday evening and that the vibration was eliminated, according to tests performed so far. Further testing should therefore go on as planned.
Separately, the Czech Press Agency said that, according to CEZ CFO Petr Voboril, CEZ could get as much as CZK 100 mil. in penalties from E.ON for terminating its purchase of electricity. No reaction expected unless details are specified.
