The sale of Ceske radiokomunikace could be approved by the Cabinet by the end of June, according to the Transport and Communications Minister Jaromir Schling, not sooner. The issue will therefore not be on the Cabinet’s agenda this week or next, as had been expected by the market. While a few more weeks of waiting will not help the stock, the announcement should not unduly affect it. According to the Czech Press Agency, TeleDanmark is, among other issues, negotiating with the government about the conditions of a post-privatization sale of Ceske radiokomunikace’s TV and radio signal transmission business (licenses, etc.).
